DHAKA: Centering the Zia Orphanage Trust Graft case verdict, the government is planning plots to keep BNP outside of the upcoming national polls, said BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.

“The whole nation is concerned and enraged over the verdict”, he said. 

Fakhrul was addressing a press briefing after the BNP standing committee meeting at BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s political office in Gulshan Saturday night (January 27). 

“I express condemnation and protest against the hostile behavior of the government opposing the laws by filing politically-motivated, false and deceptive case against several innocent people including Khaleda Zia”, added Fakhrul.
