CHUADANGA: Chhatra Shibir, student wing of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, called dawn-to-dusk hartal for Sunday in Chuadanga, Jhenidah, Meherpur and Kushtia districts in protest against killing of its activist in Jhenidah.

The hartal will be enforced from 6:00am to 6:00pm, reports our correspondent.

District Jamaat assistant secretary Ruhul Amin confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Earlier in the day, Shibir activist was killed and four police personnel were injured in a clash with police at Damurhuda upazila of the district.
