DHAKA: Opposition leader and BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia will address a press conference on Friday afternoon to unfold their plans in the context of country’s present state of affairs at her Gulshan office.

BNP central office sources said the news conference would take pace at 4:30pm, as per a changed schedule.

Sources said earlier the press conference was supposed to be held at 11am at the party’s Nayapaltan office. But the time and venue have been changed as per Khaleda Zia’s directive.

The leader of the opposition, also ex-PM, would arrange the press meet “to let people know about the current political stance of BNP, its June 27 hartal and the next course of action”, they added.       

Top BNP leaders will also attend the news conference.
