Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee took oath as chief minister of Bengal for the third time today (May 5). 

She was administered the oath by Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar this morning.

Later the CM said for the polls during the last three months there had been an administration which was not her. Thus she hinted about making changes in the administration immediately.

Mamata also appealed to all not to be vindictive and said some people have tortured which will not be tolerated.

The CM said that there were some sporadic violence and will set up new administration so there is no mismanagement.

Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar hoped that the first priority will be to end mindless violence and felt CM will bring in rule of law. He hoped that the Constitutional values would be adhered and CM will rise to the occasion taking action crossing all party lines.

CM said that she will hold an emergency meeting on Covid-19 after going to Nabanna now.
