MUNSHIGANJ: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is scheduled to visit Lauhajang and Sreenagar Thana of the district on December 7.

She is likely to join there as chief guest of election campaign rally for the Munshiganj 1 & 2 constituencies.

Deputy Commissioner of the District Saiful Hasan Badal said that tight security measures had been taken in the areas ahead of the visit.

Awami League district general secretary Sheikh Lutfur Rahman said, “Locals along with party leaders and activists from different parts of the district are fervently waiting to welcome the premier.

Sheikh Hasina is set to address two mass rallies on Friday at Lauhajang Degree College premises for election campaign of Sagufta Yeasmin Emily and at Sreenagar stadium ground for supporting Sukumar Ranjan Ghosh.
