MYMENSINGH: Two cousins were killed a tractor rammed them at Ijarapara village in Dhobaura upazila of the district on Sunday morning.

The deceased were identified as Shantona, 8, daughter of Shafiqul Islam and Shahadat, 4, son of Rafiqul Islam.

Dhobaura Thana police sources said a tractor rammed the two minors around 11:30am, while they were going ahead to watch the vehicle, leaving Shantona dead on the spot and Shahadat injured critically.  

Later, Shahadat was rushed to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital (MMCH) where he died later.  

Officer-in-Charge of Dhobaura Thana MA Haque told banglanews that the killer tractor was seized. The bodies were sent to the MMCH, he added.
