TANGAIL: A Readymade Garment’s worker was gang-raped in Hatubhanga Road area under Mirzapur upazila of the district on early Monday.

The victim was identified as a garment worker of Gorai industrial area.

Sources said a gang of miscreants attacked on the girl while she was staying with her uncle in Hatubhanga bus stand area around 2:45am.

However, some six miscreants forcefully took the girl away from her uncle. At a lonesome place, they raped her one after another and fled the scene.

On information, police rushed to the place and rescued the victim in a critical condition and stormed her to Upazila Health Complex.

However, police nabbed a person for his alleged involvement in this case.

Confirming the matter to banglanews Sub-Inspector of Mirjapur Thana Ajgar said we are trying to nab the rest of the alleged miscreants.
