DHAKA: A man was killed in a road accident at Kakoli in capital’s Banani area on Saturday morning.

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Banani thana sub-inspector Ashraful Islam told banglanews that a vehicle hit the man in the area around 6:30am while his was crossing the road, leaving him injured critically.

Later, he was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where duty doctor declared him dead.
