A Dhaka court today placed SM Mizanur Rahman, personal officer to ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, on a three-day remand in connection with a case over vandalizing public offices during a mass uprising. 

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Partha Bhadra passed the order after police sought a 10-day remand for further investigation. 

Mizanur was arrested Wednesday evening from the Science Laboratory area. 

The case was filed by Dhaka University student Sohag Mia on November 25, 2024. 

Mizanur also faces several other cases involving extortion, tender manipulation, and subversive activities.
