DHAKA: A bus helper was killed in a road accident in Malibagh area of the city on Sunday afternoon.  

The deceased was identified as Yeasin, 35.

Police sources said a bus ran over Yeasin while he was taking fares from passengers on the street in the area around 3:00pm, leaving him dead on the spot.    

Officer-in-Charge of Rampura Thana Kripa Sindu Bala said the driver was held and bus was seized in this connection.
