A court in Dhaka today showed five individuals, including ex-Shipping Minister Shahjahan Khan and Workers Party President Rashed Khan Menon, arrested in connection with four separate murder cases. 

The others arrested are former IGP Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun, Awami League's Ahmed Hossain, and ex-MP Abdus Sobhan Golap. 

Shahjahan, Menon, Mamun, and Golap were linked to a murder case involving a Juba Dal leader at Paltan Police Station, while Hossain was charged in a separate case from Jatrabari. 

Mamun faces additional charges in two more cases filed at Mirpur Police Station.
