Education and health cadres of the Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) have claimed that a deep conspiracy is underway to destabilize and render the civil service imbalanced and ineffective. 

They expressed this concern during a human chain and one-hour pen-down strike held at the Chattogram Press Club on Thursday (Dec 26) afternoon.

The human chain was organized by the ‘Inter-Cadre Disparity Elimination Council,’ a platform comprising 25 BCS cadres, the protest was part of a nationwide program. 

Officials from health and education cadres, excluding administration cadres, working in districts and upazilas, actively participated in the Chattogram event.
