DHAKA: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) personnel on Sunday night arrested two suspected killers of businessman Saiful from a restaurant at Uttara.

The suspects are Mohammad Iqubal and Nur Alam.

RAB officials, addressing a press conference at the RAB headquarters Monday, said Iqbal and his associate Alam shot cable-operator Saiful Islam to death at Khejur Bagan of Ashulia area on May 11. Kazal, one of the alleged killers, was run in from Jessore.

In line with statement of Kazaj, a RAB team raided a house at Uttara and arrested Iqbal and Alam with firearms.

The elite force seized a Spanish pistol, a shutter gun and bullets from the house, reporters were told.
 
A brother of Saiful told banglanews24.com.bd, ” Iqubal, Akter, Kohinoor and Moja killed my brother in front of me. They also hit me.”
