President Mohammed Shahabuddin and Chief Adviser (CA) Professor Muhammad Yunus today expressed deep respect for the martyred intellectuals of 1971, ahead of Martyred Intellectuals Day tomorrow.

In individual messages released on the eve of the day, both the President and the Chief Adviser called on the nation to embrace unity with a spirit free from discrimination. 

They urged everyone to contribute from their respective roles in building a new Bangladesh by overcoming the conspiracies of anti-liberation forces.
