The first Namaz-e-Janaza of AF Hasan Arif, Adviser to the Ministries of Civil Aviation, Tourism, and Land, was held on Friday (Dec 20) after Esha prayers at Baitul Aman Mosque in Dhanmondi-7.

Chief Adviser Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus, members of the advisory council, political leaders, senior government officials, and people from various walks of life attended the Namaz-e-Janaza.

The second Namaz-e-Janaza will take place on Saturday, at 11:00 am on the High Court premises. 

His burial arrangements will be finalized after the arrival of his daughter, currently abroad, who is expected to reach Dhaka on Sunday, December 22, at 10:30 pm.

Hasan Arif passed away on Friday afternoon at Lab Aid Hospital in Dhanmondi after suffering a cardiac arrest. He was declared dead at 3:35 pm, confirmed by the hospital’s public relations officer, Chowdhury Meher-e-Khoda.
