The government has declared a state mourning tomorrow (December 23) for AF Hassan Ariff, adviser to the Ministries of Civil Aviation and Tourism and Land, who passed away on Friday due to cardiac arrest.

To mark the occasion, the national flag will be flown at half-mast at all government, semi-government, autonomous institutions, educational institutions, and buildings across the country, including Bangladesh missions abroad.

Special prayers will be held at mosques and other places of worship for the peace of the departed soul.
