DHAKA: Five people received burn injuries as a gas pipeline of a dyeing factory exploded in Enayetnagar area under Fatullah thana of Narayanganj on Sunday morning.

The injured were identified as Shafiqul Islam, M Shamim, M Akkas, M Monir and M Tariqul. All of them are workers of the factory.

One of the victims Tariqul said that a fire originated from the explosion of gas pipeline in the factory around 6:00am, leaving five workers injured critically.

However, their colleagues rushed them to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
