MOULVIBAZAR: Two people, including a truck driver, were killed in a road mishap at Sadar upazila of the district on Saturday afternoon.   

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately after the accident.   

Witnesses said a Moulvibazar-bound goods-laden truck plunged into roadside ditch at Nazirabad union around 4:30pm, leaving its driver and another one dead on the spot.        

On information, police recovered the bodies and sent them to Moulvibazar Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
