No unclear glass in vehicles from May 10, Gazette published

DHAKA: The government has published gazette notification banning use of unclear, black, coloured, and non-transparent glasses in all kinds of light vehicles including microbus, private car and pick-up van from May 10.

The gazette was issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs on Tuesday.

Vehicles, whose windshield, window and back side glasses are non-transparent by built-in, will be excluded from the new   rules.

Legal actions will be taken against the person who will violate the rules.

On April 30, in the awake of recent abduction spree in the country, the government issued a circular stating that as vehicles having unclear glasses were being used for abducting people.
