DHAKA: Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) grilling Rampura Thana Sub-Inspector Monjurul Islam and four others over their alleged involvement in gold bar misappropriation.

ACC deputy director Jatan Kumar Roy is quizzing them separately at ACC office in the capital Wednesday.

ACC source said that in a raid on March 13, Rampura Thana police seized 235 gold bars, but 165 were written down in the dairy.

Later, as the matter was disclosed, OC Kripa Sindhu was suspended and a case was filed against five police personnel on April 7.
