BRAHMANBARIA: A woman along with her two kids was allegedly killed by her husband in west Medda Moubagh area of the district town on Thursday night. 

The deceased were identified as Nargis Akhter, 30, Tarin, 7 and Shafi, 5; wife and children of Chelu Mia, residing at that area.

Later, the suspected killer was held at 12:30pm and he is now being interrogated in police custody.

Sadar thana assistant sub-inspector Tapos Chandra Ghos confirmed the matter to banglanews.

The deceased might have been killed by feeding poison with food, he added.

“Earlier in the morning, after being informed by the locals, police recovered the bodies and sent to the hospital morgue for autopsy,” said Sadar Thana Officer-in-Charge Abdur Rab.
