After receiving treatment at London Clinic in the UK for 17 days, BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia reached the residence of her son and the party’s acting chairman Tarique Rahman.

As her health showed significant improvement, doctors recommended that she continue her treatment at home for now.

Tarique Rahman brought Khaleda Zia to his house at 9:30 pm local time in London on Friday (3:30 am Bangladesh time).

Earlier, Tarique Rahman participated in the doa mahfil at the Bricklane Mosque on the death anniversary of his younger brother Arafat Rahman.

Khaleda Zia's personal physician Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain said she would be kept under the full-time supervision of Professor Patrick Kennedy and Jennifer Cross even after getting discharged from the hospital.

On 8 January, Khaleda Zia went to London for advanced treatment. That day, she was taken directly from London's Heathrow International Airport to the specialized private hospital 'The London Clinic'.
