Sarjis Alam, the chief organizer of the National Citizen Party (NCP), has warmly welcomed BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia upon her return to the country, expressing hope for her party's continued commitment to democratic values.

The message came via a post on Sarjis Alam’s verified Facebook page.

Khaleda Zia, accompanied by her two daughters-in-law, arrived at her residence, Firoza, earlier on Tuesday.

In his post, Sarjis wrote: “We want to believe that Khaleda Zia and her party, BNP, will continue to work uncompromisingly to protect democracy in the country and prioritize national interests, upholding the ideals for which students and citizens gave their lives during the July uprising.”
