MYMENSINGH: Newly elected mayor (Awami League rebel candidate) of Trishal municipality ABM Asaduzzaman was made prime accused in Jubo League activist Parvez murder case.

Victim’s father Mohammad Ibrahim filed the case around 10:30pm of Saturday (January 2), accusing 15 people.

Trishal Thana Officer-in-charge (OC) Moniruzzaman informed the matter to banglanews.

He said two accused Majharul Islam Sumon and Chan Mia have already been arrested.

Earlier on Friday night, a group of miscreants hacked and stabbed dead an activist of ruling Awami League’s youth front Jubo League in Trishal upazila of Mymensingh district.

However, protesting the murder, Jubo League activists blocked Dhaka-Mymensingh highway around 11:00pm on the day.
