DHAKA: BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia and the party’s secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir have greeted the Muslim ummah, including the people of Bangladesh, on the occasion of holy Shab-e-Qadr.
The BNP chief and the party’s spokesperson issued separate massages on the occasion on Wednesday (June 21).
The two leaders in their messages wished happiness, peace and progress for the countrymen as well as the Muslim ummah.
In her message, Khaleda Zia said, “The night of Shab-e-Qadr is very significant and glorious for Muslim ummah. The holy Quran was revealed to out prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SM) in the night. So, the night is very important for all Muslims.”
She said that all Muslims should pray to Allah so that they could be free from evil deed and impurity and could achieve the grace of Allah.
