DHAKA: Police detained seven activists of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, on charge of planning sabotage activities at a hospital in Lalmatia area of Dhaka’s Mohammadpur.

Mohammadpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Jamal Uddin Mir told Banglanews that on secret information they conducted a drive and nabbed the seven men from Lalmatia area, on Saturday afternoon (September 23).  

The detainees were planning to carry out sabotage activities at Euro Bangla Hospital in Lalmatia, he said.

However, they have been sent to the court Sunday morning (September 24), added the OC.
