Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD), the student wing of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), is set to observe its ‘March for Justice’ programme today (Jan 18).

The initiative aims to demand justice against the alleged terrorist activities of the recently banned Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) and the involvement of certain teachers who, according to JCD, acted as allies of the Awami League during the July-August uprising.

According to a press release, the procession will commence at 2:30 PM from the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) and conclude at the Central Shaheed Minar.

JCD President Rakibul Islam Rakib and General Secretary Nasir Uddin Nasir have urged students, as well as leaders and activists of the organization, to actively participate and ensure the programme’s success.
