DHAKA: Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-11 detained two fugitives of banned militant outfit Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) from Abdullahpur and Shanir Akhra areas of the capital on Sunday (September 24).

The detainees were identified as Ruhullah Atik alias Nurullah and Chowdhury Hamdan Bin Firoz alias Muhith.

RAB's legal and media wing director Commander Mufti Mahmud Khan confirmed the matter to Banglanews.

The detainees had a case filed against them with Fatullah police station of Narayanganj.

The case (no: 105) was filed on July 29 in 2017.
