DHAKA: Rajib Ahsan, president of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD), has been placed on a five-day remand in a case filed under Paltan police station.
 
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mazharul Islam granted the remand after investigation officer and Paltan police station SI Abdul Hannan produced him before court seeking 10 days remand on Friday afternoon (February 9).

The court also granted one day remand to others accused, detained along with Rajib.
 
Police detained Rajib and others in front of Scout market in city’s Naya Paltan area on Thursday afternoon (Feb 9).
