KHAGRACHHARI: An activist of United People’s Democratic Front (UPDF) was reportedly shot dead by miscreants in Khagrachhari on Saturday (February 17).

The deceased was identified as Dilip Kumar Chakma alias Binoy, 43, son of Sontosh Kumar Chakma, from Monipur area of Panchhari. He was responsible for organizational activities at Harinath Para.

UPDF district organizer Michael Chakma condemned the incident and said, "In the incident, the men of neo Mask Force (UPDF Democratic) and JSS MN Larma group are involved.”

Officer-in-Charge (OC) Tarek Mohammad Abdul Hannan told Banglanews that police went to the spot.
