DHAKA: Jatiya Party presidium member Tazul Islam Chowdhury is going to be selected as the opposition Chief Whip.

State minister for labor Mujibul Haque Chunnu made the disclosure just before the meeting on Jatiya Party Parliamentary Party (JPPP) started at Jatiya Sangsad on Tuesday.
 
He said Tazul would be elected as Chief Whip in the meeting started with opposition leader Rawshan Ershad in the chair at her Jatiya Sangsad office.

All JP lawmakers including Kazi Firoj Rashid, Moshiur Rahman Ranga are taking part in the meeting.
