Three men were electrocuted this afternoon at Paschim Kamalerpara village under Saghata upazila in Gaibandha district.

Saghata Police Station Officer-in-Charge Badsha Alom confirmed the incident.

The deceased were identified as Mosarrof Hossain, Milon Miah, and Yakub Ali—all residents of the same village. 

The incident occurred when Milon came into contact with a live electric wire while cleaning a corrugated iron sheet on a rooftop. 

Hearing his screams, Yakub and Mosarrof rushed to help and were also electrocuted.

All three were taken to the local upazila health complex, where doctors declared them dead.
