Libyan Ambassador to Bangladesh, Abdulmutalib S. M. Suliman, shared this during a courtesy visit to Foreign Secretary Md Jashim Uddin at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday, according to a press release.

The Ambassador also conveyed Libya's intention to increase imports of ready-made garments and jute products from Bangladesh.

Foreign Secretary Jashim Uddin unerscored the importance of fostering collaboration in agriculture and enhancing people-to-people connections.

He also highlighted the need for stronger ties between the Chambers of Commerce of both nations to boost business interactions.

Jashim urged Libya to finalize an agreement on visa waivers for diplomatic and official passport holders to facilitate improved government-level engagement.
