Army Chief General Waker-uz-Zaman has departed the capital for an official visit to Russia and Croatia aimed at strengthening bilateral defence cooperation.

General Waker is set to reach Russia on Sunday (April 6) and wrap up a four-day tour on April 10. 

Next, he would visit Croatia and return to the country on April 12.

During the tour, General Waker will meet key military and civilian officials, and visit military installations and weapons manufacturing facilities in both countries.
