Brazilian Ambassador to Bangladesh, Paulo Fernando Dias Feres, met with BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir at the BNP Chairperson's Gulshan office on Tuesday.
The over-hour-long meeting, which began at 11am, focused on the upcoming national election and bilateral cooperation.
BNP Standing Committee member Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury and Organising Secretary Shama Obed also attended the meeting.
Khosru briefed reporters, said that they discussed strengthening Bangladesh-Brazil relations, with a focus on expanding cultural exchanges and collaboration.
Brazil expressed interest in exporting red meat to Bangladesh and setting up a local warehouse to reduce prices.
Additionally, Brazil offered to transfer technology to enhance Bangladesh's meat and milk production efficiency.
