Barrister Zaima Rahman, daughter of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, will represent her father at the 'National Prayer Breakfast' event in Washington, DC, on February 5-6. 

Tarique Rahman will not attend the event himself due to his mother, BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, currently receiving medical treatment in the UK.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir confirmed the news and added that he will also attend the event. 

Zaima Rahman’s participation will mark her first appearance at such a global event. 

The National Prayer Breakfast, held annually since 1953, gathers political, business, and social leaders from over 100 countries, including the US President, Senators, and Congress members.
