DHAKA: Lucky Akhtar and GM Jilani Shubho have made president and general secretary of Bangladesh Students Union (BSU) respectively in its 37th council.

Names of the 41-memner new committee were announced after the council in city on Wednesday noon.

Earlier on September 13, eminent naturalist Dwijen Sharma inaugurated the 3-day BSU national council on Dhaka University campus.

According to the organizers, about five hundred party representatives attended the council.
