DHAKA: Four foreign delegates, who attended the six national council of BNP, called on Khaleda Zia at her Gulshan residence in city on Sunday afternoon (March 20).

The delegates were British parliamentarian Saimon Denzchuk, former member of Britain’s Liberal Democrats International Relations Committee Phil Bennion, USA’s Democratic Party leader Barbara Moore and Chicago City councilor Alderman Joe Moore.

Acting BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, chairperson’s adviser Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, Riaz Rahman and journalist Shafiq Rehman were present during the call on.

Party sources said Khaleda Zia thanked the foreign delegates for attending the national council of BNP.

The foreign delegates also thanked Khaleda Zia for showing honor to them by inviting in the council.
