RANGPUR: Police, in overnight drives, arrested at least 92 accused including a Jamaat-e-Islami activist from eight upazilas of the district on Friday (November 25).

Rangpur District Police Control Room confirmed the matter to Banglanews.

Rangpur police super (SP) Mizanur Rahman told Banglanews that the arrestees were accused of several cases including sabotage, stealing, robbery and terrorist activities.

They were sent to jail through court in the morning, the SP added.
