DHAKA: US Ambassador to Bangladesh Marcia Stephens Bloom Bernicat on Wednesday afternoon (February 22) held a long meeting with BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia.

The two-hour meeting was held at Khaleda Zia’s Gulshan political office in Dhaka.

BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, standing committee member Nazrul Islam Khan and others were present here.

Competent party sources confirmed the matter to Banglanews in evening.
