SIRAJGANJ: Health Minister and Awami League’s senior leader Mohammad Nasim has said that there is no alternative to Prime Minsier Sheikh Hasina in establishing peace.

He said this while talking to journalists after visiting the under construction Shaheed M Mansur Ali Medical College and joining the meeting of district law and order committee in Sirajganj on Saturday (June 03).

Terming Sheikh Hasina as farsighted leader, Nasim said that the country is heading towards progress under the leadership of the prime minister.  

He said that peace has been established in the country due to political stability and uprooting of the militancy.

The minister talked about several development projects which are being implemented in Sirajganj.

Sirajganj district Awami League president and Zila Parishad chairman Abdul Latif Biswas, Prof Dr Habibe Millat MP, Hasibur Rahman Swapan MP, Amzad Hossain Milon MP, Selina Begum Swapna MP, superintendent of police (SP) Miraz Uddin Ahmed, civil surgeon Dr Sheikh Manzur Rahman also attended, among others, at the time.
