BOGRA: The three members of Neo-Jamaatul Mujahideen Bangladesh (Neo-JMB), arrested on Thursday night (June 08) in Bogra, were sent to jail on Friday (June 09).

A district court in Bogra sent them to the jail after they were produced before the court at about 3:00 pm.

The detainees Neo-JMB members were identified as Abdul Aziz Mamun, 28, son of Shamsuzzaman of Gumostapur in Chapainawabganj, Abdullahil Kafi Farhan, 20, son of Habibur Rahman of the same area, and Rasel, 34, son of Dr Abu Bakkar Siddik of Saghata in Gaibandha.

A team of detective branch (DB) of police arrested the Neo-JMB men from Muroil area at Adamdighi upazila in Bogra. Police also recovered arms and ammunitions from their possession.

Officer-in-charge (OC) of Adamdighi police station Shawkat Kabir confirmed the matter to the Banglanews.
