BNP demands judicial probe into Rangamati’s Longdu incident

RANGAMATI: The BNP has demanded judicial probe into the arson attack on houses of Chakma community at Longdu upazila in Rangamati.

BNP’s central delegation team made the demand at a press conference at the district BNP office in Rangamati on Friday noon (June 09).

The party’s vice chairman Abdullah-al-Noman led the delegation and spoke at the press conference.

BNP chairperson’s adviser Prof Sukomal Barua, central organizing secretary Mahbubur Rahman Shamim, central leaders Col (retd) Monish Dewan and Advocate Dipen Dewan and district BNP president Md Shah Alam attended at the time.      

Abdullah-al-Noman said that they could not visit the spot at Longdu, as the local administration did not allow them.
