DHAKA: The High Court has ordered the government not to stop missing BNP leader M Ilias Ali’s wife and adviser to the party chairperson Tahsina Rushdir Luna from traveling abroad.
The HC bench of Justice Tariq ul Hakim and Justice M Faruk passed the order on Monday (July 10) following a writ petition filed by Luna.
Her lawyer Sagir Hossain moved in the court. The lawyer told journalists that the court allowed his client to travel abroad.
Earlier on Sunday (July 09), Tahsina Rushdir Luna was barred from going abroad at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
She was supposed to flight to London to attend her eldest son's convocation ceremony scheduled for next week. The son recently graduated from Kingston University of London.
