DHAKA: BNP chairperson’s adviser and missing leader of the party M Ilias Ali’s wife Tahsina Rushdir Luna finally left the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport for London on Wednesday morning (July 12).  

She was barred from going abroad at the airport for two times. Luna was again barred by the immigration officers hour before leaving the airport, said BNP chairperson’s press wing member Shairul Kabir Khan.  

Earlier, she was barred from going abroad at the airport on Sunday (July 09).

After the obstruction, Luna on Monday (July 10) filed a writ petition with the High Court seeking court’s order in this regard.

The HC on that day ordered the government to allow her from traveling abroad.

She left the country for London to attend her eldest son's convocation ceremony. The son recently graduated from Kingston University of London.
