DHAKA: BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia will hold a meeting of standing committee, the highest policy-making body of the party, at her Gulshan office Thursday (July 13).

The meeting will be held at 8:30pm at the BNP chief's Gulshan office, Shamsuddin Didar and Shairul Kabir, two officials of Khaleda's Press wing, told the Banglanews.

Party sources said that Khaleda Zia called the meeting for providing necessary instructions to the standing committee members prior to her upcoming tour to London, coordinating party activities during her stay there and about her meet with BNP Senior Vice Chairman Tarique Rahman there.
 
However, Khaleda Zia will fly for London within a few days in a personal tour.

She is also likely to visit her younger son late Arafat Rahman Koko’s family there.
