PABNA: Awami League presidium member Mohammad Nasim has said that his party will come to power again through the mandate of the people.
Nasim, also the health minister, said this while speaking at the meeting of law and order committee and development coordination committee of Pabna district on Saturday (July 15).
He said that BNP chief Khaleda Zia made the caretaker government system controversial. The apex court scrapped the poll-time government system. So, now there is no way to restore the system, he added.
The AL senior leader said that they are ready for quitting power if the people don’t want them.
He called upon the BNP and other political parties to take preparation mentally to join the next general elections under Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
