MYMENSINGH: Some 30 leaders and activists of the Bangladesh Chhatra League, the student wing of the ruling Awami League, joined the BNP at Haluaghat upazila in Mymensingh on Saturday (July 22).

The BCL men led by former general secretary of Norail union unit of the organization Sajib Hossain Nayan joined the BNP by placing flowers to BNP’s central organizing secretary Syed Emran Saleh Prince.

The joining function was held at the party’s office at Dhara Bazar of Haluaghat upazila, says a press release of the BNP.

Norail union Juba Dal president Abdul Mazid Master presided over the joining function, while upazila BNP’s joint convener Badrul Kabir, Krishak Dal leader Joynal Abedin and former UP chairman Mizanur Rahman also attended there, among others.
