DHAKA: Police arrested two leaders of Jubo Dal, the youth front of BNP, from Shahjahanpur and Baitul Mukarram area of Dhaka Thursday (August 17).

The arrestees are—Arifur Rahman, former president of Paltan thana unit Jubo Dal, and Leon Hossain, former joint convener.  

Paltan Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) M Mahmudul Haque told Banglanews that Arifur Rahman is accused seven cases while Leon Hossain is accused in 32 cases.

They were detained in separate drives conducted on Thursday, he added.
