CHANDPUR: Awami League’s international affairs secretary and former foreign minister Dr Dipu Moni has called upon the international community to mount pressure on Myanmar to stop atrocities on Rohingyas.

She made the call while talking to journalists during a tree plantation program at Bagdi union of Chandpur sadar on Tuesday (September 05).

Dipu Moni said that she hoped the international community will mount pressure on Myanmar in resolving the Rohingya crisis. Besides, the Bangladesh government is also trying to resolve the crisis through talks, she added.  

She protested and condemned the genocide of Rohingays. She said that the Myanmar government is killing the Rohingyas barbarically.
